SBC Summit North America First Pitch: call for applications
The SBC Summit North America First Pitch start-up competition is scheduled for 10 May at the Meadowlands Exposition Centre in New Jersey. This event is part of the Emerging Tech & Investment conference. The closing date for applications is 31 March.

Leading experts and investors will be showcasing the best business projects in the gambling and sports betting industry like a GGBet.

An independent panel of experts will select the five US initiatives that meet the established eligibility criteria and are the most innovative ideas.
The prize package for the winner includes support for development and growth. It is currently valued at $35,000.

The event is open to start-ups:

· Established no earlier than 2020.
· Focused on sports betting or gambling.
· Applicants must attract investments of at least half a million dollars.
· External investment of up to $5 million is also needed.

The third annual IAGR awards program for gambling regulators opens

The International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR) has launched the International Regulatory Awards. This program rewards the best regulators in the gambling sector. Its prizes are awarded for outstanding contributions to the entire global gambling industry.
The winners will be selected by an international jury in three categories:
· Regulatory excellence.
· Regulatory innovation.
· The best regulation campaign.
Nominations are due by 30 August. The winners will be announced in October at the IAGR2023 conference in Gaborone, Botswana.
